Feeling left out ?
Spirit of Isolation
Sometimes the feeling of being left out, isolated or unable to make a connection can come from a spirit of isolation.
This spirit will convince you that it is too exhausting to reach out to create meaningful relationships. It causes it's prey to walk away from people. This is much more than just the need of an introvert for time to refuel. A victim spirit can cause even extroverts to want to hide away, avoid crowds. It will convince it's victim of many reasons to withdraw. " "you're not very likeable right now" "You need to have time to yourself". "It's too exhausting", "I can't handle being with people" and primarily "I just don't feel like taking the energy to put myself out there to maintain or build relationships." It will actually help reinforce reasons in your mind why it is impossible to connect. While convincing the person not to build friendships it then turns and torments you, accusing you of being unlovable, unfriendly, too heavy or depressed to be a blessing to those around you. It makes you long for the very thing it is keeping you from; deep loving vulnerable friendships. it often partners with a spirit of rejection as well. It makes you sad that you are so unconnected and creates a stigma in your spirit of being unconnected unpleasant to be around and often unable to be loved. This may be something you can sense in the atmosphere, but let's choose not to wear it.
Pray with me "isolation spirit, I choose to be led by the Spirit of God in my friendships and acquaintances. I renounce the lie that staying away from people is better for them and me. I renounce the lie that I am not lovable or that I cannot have fun in a group of people. I will give myself proper amounts of time with people and by myself in a healthy balance. I believe I am lovable and Christ in me loves to connect with others and to make them feel valued. My gifts and personality are needed amongst my friends, family and acquaintances and I need them. I command you spirit of isolation to go now in Jesus Name! Leave me now! I refuse to partner with your lies of isolation. I will become all I am meant to be in Jesus name! "
I encourage you to push through... reach out... When this spirit is active in a group others in the group often feel just the same way you do! Don't stay lonely,, push past the barriers and connect!
